Choosing the Right LTO Battery for Your Audio System
Choosing the right LTO battery is key to ensuring optimal performance and reliability in vehicles and energy storage systems. Each LTO battery model in our offer has its specific applications – from standard use in passenger cars to intensive operation in demanding conditions such as audio systems or energy storage.
In this article, we provide detailed information about each model to help you find the perfect solution.
Each description includes an individual graph that illustrates the key parameters and features of the battery. At the end, you will find a comparison graph that will help you compare models directly and choose the one that best suits your needs.
Detailed description of each model
Gree/Yinlong 2.3V 40Ah
Yinlong 2.3V batteries are one of the most popular models on our market. Ideal for users who are looking for a battery for everyday use in vehicles operating at a standard operating voltage of 14.4V. At this voltage, we already obtain about 80-85% of the total battery capacity. The batteries are in a 6S configuration.

As we can see on the scope, the usable voltage range of Yinlong is 15.2-12V. This results in 3.2V usable range.
The drop in the initial and final range is a normal phenomenon for this type of battery, therefore we do not take it into account, as the capacity in this range is negligible.
Despite the very low internal resistance, we do not see a straight line, we see a wide range, which under load can cause increasingly large voltage drops as the battery discharges.
The graph is for a discharge current of 1C, or 40A. If we apply a higher current (80, 120, 160A) to the same set, we will shift the curve down, i.e. increase the voltage drop.
Some basic technical parameters of the battery:
- Nominal voltage: 2.3V
- Nominal capacity: 40Ah
- Dimensions ⌀66 x 210 mm
- Maximum discharge current: 400A
- Lifespan: >25000 cycles at 80% DoD (Depth of Discharge)
- Operating temperature: -40 ~ 65°C
Additionally, it is worth noting that for proper and efficient batteries, the capacity should always be >100% . Often in batteries sold on the Polish market, the capacity turns out to be much lower.
Plannano 2.4V 40Ah
Plannano 2.3V 40Ah batteries are a model that is relatively new on our market. Batteries turn out to be a very good alternative looking at the parameters that we will present below. The battery can perform well in the range of use in the car, but due to its capacity range, at nominal voltage it will not be fully charged. For LTO batteries this is not a problem, however for people who are able to generate a voltage of around 15V – it could be a very good solution.

As we can see from the graph, the usable voltage range is 15.5-13.5V, which is about 2V. This narrow range allows for greater voltage stability, which translates into more stable current delivery during battery operation.
If you use your car in the 14.9 – 15.2V range – these batteries may be a very good solution.
The drop in the initial and final range is a normal phenomenon for this type of battery, therefore we do not take it into account, as the capacity in this range is negligible.
In this case the line definitely flattens out at the lower end, which will stabilize the voltage a bit. The low internal resistance plays a good role in this case, as we can see that the curve is high, suggesting that with a stable voltage we will benefit from a larger range.
Due to the higher curve, we can safely assume that the battery pack will accept more current, which is consistent with the parameters below:
- Nominal voltage: 2.4V
- Nominal capacity: 40Ah
- Dimensions ⌀60 x 194 mm
- Maximum discharge current: 800A
- Lifespan: >25000 cycles at 80% DoD (Depth of Discharge)
- Operating temperature: -50 ~ 65°C
Of course, for new batteries the capacity will always be >100% .
BLD 2.3V 24Ah
BLD batteries can easily be called batteries for people who want to achieve much higher results. From a smaller capacity we have really high efficiency available, but higher requirements must also be met, such as: Appropriate voltage, appropriately oversized installation.

The graph shows that the usable voltage range is 15.5-14V, which is only 1.5V difference. Such a narrow voltage range helps to stabilize the voltage and ensures better voltage maintenance at the appropriate level.
Batteries provide a lot of available current through their curve, while stabilizing the voltage. Very good for people who are able to charge the car high and need a really stable voltage.
We also see a very high battery capacity relative to the nameplate, so we know we will last longer.
Very good batteries, let’s also look at the technical parameters:
- Nominal voltage: 2.4V
- Nominal capacity: 24Ah
- Dimensions ⌀60 x 137 mm
- Maximum discharge current: 500A (very high for the capacity)
- Lifespan: >25000 cycles at 80% DoD (Depth of Discharge)
- Operating temperature: -40 ~ 60°C
Promising batteries that could be an ideal alternative for higher charging voltage levels.
Shengquan 2.4V 6 Ah
The last of the types of batteries available from us – these batteries are available to order. Batteries that will work perfectly in a situation where high current is required for a short time. Due to the low capacity we can expect express discharge, but thanks to their “power” we can get really decent results.

The voltage range of these batteries is very high – from 16V to around 13.9, which finally gives ~2.1V usable range. However, due to low capacity at high discharge (up to 60C) we will reach discharge very quickly.
These batteries will be ideal for competitive applications (several people in Poland are already using them) where we will charge the batteries and prepare them for the so-called “shot” where we will achieve a high result in a few seconds. By assembling a dozen or so packages we can extract really big values from them.
It is also worth mentioning the basic technical parameters:
- Nominal voltage: 2.4V
- Nominal capacity: 6Ah
- Dimensions ⌀33.5 x 162 mm
- Maximum discharge current: 360A (very high for the capacity)
- Lifespan: >25000 cycles at 80% DoD (Depth of Discharge)
- Operating temperature: -40 ~ 60°C
Batteries ideal for competition, small size, high current, several sets lasting for years.
Comparison chart of individual models
After a detailed analysis of each model, below is a common comparison chart that shows the usable ranges of all the listed battery types. This allows you to quickly compare values such as voltage, cycle life and efficiency in different ranges.

Some key features:
- Yinlong 40Ah: wide voltage range, adequate performance. for serial sets
- Plannano 40Ah: Suitable for those who are able to generate a voltage around 15V, a narrower voltage range which suggests greater stability.
- BLD 24Ah: Batteries with good specifications, very narrow voltage range, which guarantees stability. Very good battery parameters.
- Shengquan 6Ah: Competition batteries, very high discharge current, stable range.
On the graph, we can of course see the dependence of capacity – not in numbers, but in %, to make it easier to assess batteries on a common graph. It is worth paying attention to your voltage range and checking what you expect from the battery.
It is also worth considering that batteries are not everything. A properly selected electrical system or alternator will certainly affect these batteries.

Fun fact
We had the opportunity to test a few batteries from people who sold/sell batteries in Poland. Due to data protection, we do not want to provide personal data, but it is worth paying attention to their capacity in relation to the nominal value. Batteries with average parameters, often sold as “new”, although one of the cases is true, because they are sold as used at a correspondingly lower price.
